2012 Western Night Series - Event 1 (13-03-2012)

I started about 8 minutes late, so it was always going to be just a training run. Being a score event, I set out on a loop to try to get all controls. After the lunch time speed session, I wasn't feeling great, and the first half was a real struggle. As the sun got lower and the temperature dropped, I felt much better and I was able to pick up the pace in the second half. As it turned out, I left had some options at the end and I left out 2 controls in order to return before the 8pm cut off
