I took a while to get into the map. The event book stated 1:4000 map scale with 2m contours. The map was actually 1:5000 with 5m contours, so that threw me a bit.
The map also seemed to be a bush map enlarged to 1:5000 rather than a sprint orienteering map with ISSOM symbols.

I lost about 30s on 3 at the edge of the circle. I wasn't using my compass enough and I ran wobbly from point to point without good flow. Shep made my life easier when he caught me. I was able to hang on until 16 but I lost him up the hill. I wasn't able to tell where the end of the track was on the way to 17, so I ran too far, and cut in too late.
On the way to 20 I was too far right and I had to cut back to avoid the green.
