2012-13 Eastern Summer Series Event No. 7 (05-12-2012)

With an unusually shaped map, I decided to head west along the creek to give myself more options on the way back. I turned around after 50m but no one else was going in my direction. I was a bit concerned by this initially, but my route seemed ok.
With only 1 to drop, there were still plenty of options and I probably spent a bit too much time looking at my map. I think that Bryan and Andrew must have been running faster in the opposite direction and gaining ground on me.
I finished stongly in the last 10 minutes, but Bryan had just finished ahead of me in the exact opposite route. Andrew has collected the last few in a different order and came in third.
